efficient_monitoring_web_tools

Netdata is a highly optimized Linux daemon providing real-time performance monitoring for Linux systems, Applications, SNMP devices.

01 Automatic installation:

bash <(curl -Ss https://my-netdata.io/kickstart.sh)


02 Manual installation:

Prepare your system :

$curl -Ss 'https://raw.githubusercontent.com/firehol/netdata-demo-site/master/install-required-packages.sh' >/tmp/kickstart.sh && bash /tmp/kickstart.sh -i netdata-all

Install netdata :

$git clone https://github.com/firehol/netdata.git --depth=1
$cd netdata
./netdata-installer.sh

Starting netdata at boot :

$killall netdata
$cp system/netdata.service /etc/systemd/system/
$systemctl daemon-reload
$systemctl enable netdata
$service netdata start

Updating netdata after its installation :

You will use cron for update :

$crontab -e

Add the following line with your git path of netdata :

# add a cron-job at the bottom. This one will update netdata every day at 6:00AM:
# update netdata
0 6 * * * /path/to/git/downloaded/netdata/netdata-updater.sh

Work with netdata :

You can access to netdata via your web browser : http://127.0.0.1:19999/

You can get the running config file at any time, by accessing http://127.0.0.1:19999/netdata.conf

Uninstalling netdata :

$cd /path/to/netdata.git
$./netdata-uninstaller.sh --force
